Dr Jones trained in medicine at the Royal Free Hospital in London. She has broad and extensive training both in general medicine and dermatology having undertaken specialist training at University College and Chelsea and Westminster Hospitals, London and also internationally at the dermatology departments of Miami, Barcelona and Auckland University Hospitals. She is a member of the British Association of Dermatology (BAD) and treasurer of the British Hair and Nail Society (BHNS). She has presented nationally and internationally and is published in the medical literature. She has recently edited the hair chapter for the 4th edition of Differential Diagnoses in Dermatology which was first published in 1990. She has consulted for a well known International cosmetic company since 2005 and is a spokesperson for the British Skin Foundation.
She works as an NHS Consultant at the Royal Free Hospital in Hampstead, London where she is head of Dermatology Specialist Training. Her private practice is located at the Hospital of St John and St Elizabeth in St Johns Wood, London.
Before specialising in dermatology, Dr. Jones spent four years in South America where she traveled and worked for a multinational pharmaceutical company. She is fluent in Spanish. Outside work she enjoys traveling and spending time with her family and young son.
