Having completed her undergraduate training at the University of Nottingham with honors in 2000, Dr Kaur completed her general medical training and obtained membership of the Royal College of Physicians, London in 2003. Since then she has exclusively worked in Dermatology and obtained full accreditation as a Consultant Dermatologist in 2008. She initially worked as an honorary and locum consultant at the world famous 'St Johns Institute of Dermatology' in London where she nurtured an interest in hair disorders. Since 2009, she has worked as a Consultant Dermatologist at Heart of England NHS Foundation Trust and has been committed to improving care for patients with hair disorders. She is a founding member of the British Hair and Nail Society, and taught on the inaugural training course. She runs a specialist alopecia service, and has helped write patient information on hair disease for the British Association of Dermatologists.
